Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("Policy") applies to everything you do with the KeyBind Service operated by Stanbren LLC ("Stanbren," "we," "us," or "our") — including Scripts you write or run, Modules you create, list, or use, and your use of the website, Marketplace, and cloud features. It is part of our Terms of Service. Capitalized terms have the meaning given there.

KeyBind is powerful by design: Scripts and Modules can automate keyboard and mouse input, capture screen, input, and audio, read and write files, run background tasks, make network requests, and control other applications. That power is why this Policy exists. You are responsible for what you run — including Scripts you wrote, Scripts generated by AI features, and Modules you installed.

1. The Short Version

Use KeyBind to automate your own work on your own machines (or machines you are authorized to control), in ways that are legal and don't harm other people or their systems. Don't use it to spy, steal, defraud, or break things.

2. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the Service, or create, run, list, or distribute any Script or Module, to:

Harm other people's systems or data.

Create, distribute, or deploy malware, spyware, ransomware, or any code designed to damage, disable, or gain unauthorized access to systems, devices, or data.
Access, probe, or interfere with systems, accounts, or networks you do not own or lack authorization to use.
Conduct denial-of-service attacks or otherwise disrupt any service or network.

Surveil or capture without consent.

Capture another person's screen, keystrokes, input, or audio without lawful consent.
Use keylogging, screen capture, or audio capture functionality against any device or person you are not authorized to monitor.
Stalk, harass, or track any person.

Steal or defraud.

Harvest credentials, payment details, or personal information.
Impersonate any person or entity, or facilitate phishing, social engineering, or fraud.
Circumvent security, licensing, DRM, or signing mechanisms — including KeyBind's own Module signing and license enforcement.

Abuse third-party services.

Automate a third-party service in violation of that service's terms — including game cheating that violates a game's terms of service, ticket or inventory scalping, spam, fake engagement, and scraping that a service prohibits.
Evade rate limits, bot detection, or access controls of any service.

Break the law.

Violate any applicable law or regulation, or promote or facilitate illegal activity.
Infringe any third party's intellectual property, privacy, or other rights.

Abuse the Service itself.

Interfere with or disrupt the Service, other users, or the Marketplace.
Misrepresent what a Module does, what permissions it needs, or what data it accesses or transmits.
Resell, share, or transfer Accounts, or misuse AI Credits or free-tier allowances through automation or multiple accounts.

3. Marketplace Listings

If you sell or distribute Modules, the Marketplace & Seller Agreement additionally requires that every Listing accurately describe the Module's behavior, permissions, and data practices, and that no Module contain hidden or undisclosed functionality. A Module that is technically legal but deceptively described still violates this Policy.

4. AI-Generated Scripts

Scripts generated by AI features are subject to this Policy exactly as if you had written them by hand. Review AI-generated Scripts before running them; "the AI wrote it" is not an excuse for a Script that violates this Policy or harms your own or others' systems.

5. Security Research

Good-faith testing on your own systems is fine — that's what KeyBind is for. If you believe you have found a security vulnerability in KeyBind itself, report it to support@keybind.net rather than exploiting it, and give us reasonable time to fix it before any disclosure.

6. Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations and may, at our discretion: remove or delist Modules; suspend or terminate Accounts; withhold payouts associated with violating activity; and report activity to law enforcement where appropriate. See the Terms of Service (Sections 10 and 15) and the Marketplace & Seller Agreement (Section 7).

7. Reporting Violations

To report a Module, Script, or user you believe violates this Policy, contact support@keybind.net. For copyright complaints, use the DMCA process in the Marketplace & Seller Agreement (Section 6).

8. Changes

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be noticed as described in the Terms of Service. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
