But the internet is really big, and new offers get added all the time—offers we might not have seen yet. So, if you purchase a badged Groupon deal and find the exact same experience from the same service provider or tour operator for less after you bought it, we’ll make it up to you. We will issue Groupon Bucks valued at 100% of the difference and add an additional 25% of the difference — combined that’s 125% of the price difference! 

What does that mean? Well, say you find a deal for $30 on Groupon. But then, you see that exact same experience offered for $20 on another website. If you let us know, we’ll reimburse you $10 in Groupon Bucks* and add $2.50 in Groupon Bucks to your account to use on your next Groupon experience! (A price difference of $10 x 125% is $12.50—yay, math!)

How Our Guarantee Works

     1. Purchase Your Groupon Deal

Only deals with the Best Price Guarantee badge are eligible.

     2. Send Us the Details

Remember, the lower price must be a directly comparable experience from the same service provider or tour operator for the exact same date, time, and location and priced in the same currency as the deal you purchased on Groupon. And you need to let us know about it within 72 hours after your Groupon purchase. Send us a pic, a screenshot, and/or URL of the lower price for the deal you bought to pricematch@groupon.com. And don’t forget to include your Groupon order number!

     3. We’ll Take a Look!

We’ll review what you send us and get back to you in a timely manner. We know waiting isn’t fun, but we do appreciate your patience.

     4. Get The Difference Covered, Plus Additional Groupon Bucks!

If it all checks out, we'll reimburse you 125% of the difference between the two prices in Groupon Bucks deposited directly into your Groupon account within 7 days of confirmation. (*Terms and conditions apply. See policy below.)

 

Fine Print

The following terms and conditions apply to all Best Price Guarantee requests:

  • Only deals with the Best Price Guarantee badge are eligible. 
  • Best Price Guarantee covers all-inclusive prices (e.g., all taxes and fees) that are advertised and available to the general public (note:  Discounts requiring a specific state or student ID are not deemed as available to the general public). This does not include discounts you may receive (or be eligible for) from third-party organizations such as AAA or AARP, or special offers made as part of a membership program, corporate discount, daily deal, group or rewards program, websites where you call to get the rate from. Also, not applicable if such website’s pricing is calculated after applying rebates, free offers, coupons, offers based on bundled pricing, volume, or lot discounts. Best Price Guarantee is not available for orders on websites where the order details are unknown until after purchase. 
  • All Best Price Guarantee requests must be submitted to pricematch@groupon.com no later than 72 hours following your confirmed purchase on Groupon. The lower price of the identical experience must be available for Groupon to verify independently. Groupon will not approve any request that it believes, in its sole discretion, is the result of a printing or other error or is made fraudulently or in bad faith. All decisions will be made at the sole discretion of Groupon.
  • Maximum of one Best Price Guarantee claim per deal per week for each customer. 
  • Groupon Bucks received as part of Best Price Guarantee expire within 30 days from issuance and will be canceled for any purchase that was later refunded, all subject to the terms and conditions found here for “Promotional Activity.”
  • Free to claim card linked offers are not eligible for the Best Price Guarantee.
  • Groupon reserves the right to refuse a Best Price Guarantee request in order to prevent fraud or abuse or to ensure the integrity of Groupon. Groupon reserves all rights and remedies in the event any customer, individually or in collusion with others, attempts to circumvent these terms and conditions, to commit fraud, or to abuse the Best Price Guarantee program.
  • Groupon reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to modify or discontinue the Best Price Guarantee program or to restrict its availability to any person, at any time, for any or no reason, and without prior notice or liability to you. The terms in effect at the time of your purchase will determine your eligibility under the Best Price Guarantee program. The failure by Groupon to enforce any provision of these terms and conditions shall not constitute a waiver of that provision. All other Groupon terms and conditions and policies apply.
